PARTNER —Emily Pappas has extensive experience at the local, state, and federal levels of government. Before joining Lehman Levi Pappas & Sadler, Ms. Pappas was a fellow for a Central Valley program where she was trained in leadership, management, facilitation, and public policy. More specifically she gained extensive knowledge on water, transportation, land-use, housing, and agricultural issues in the Central Valley. Through several public affairs apprenticeships and extensive senior level interaction, she gained experience in media, politics, government, private business, nonprofit organizations, and consulting work.

Prior to that position, Ms. Pappas worked at the United States Embassy in Paris, Office of Commercial Service. Previously, she interned at The White House Office of Political Affairs, and also at the United States Department of Commerce, Office of Business Liaison. Ms. Pappas was an intern for Secretary of State Bruce McPherson when he served in the State Senate. Ms. Pappas graduated with highest honors from the University of California at Davis where she earned a Bachelors Degree in three years and completed studies at the Institute on Comparative and Economic Systems at Georgetown University.
